Classification and labelling of Sodium Antimonate
Classification and labelling according to CLP/GHS
Sodium Antimonate (A) (Representative sample)
State/form of the substance: powder
Remarks: The classification and labelling of sodium antimonate (A) is covered by a group entry in Annex VI of regulation (EC) 1272/2008, index No. 051-003-00-9.
However, recently generated hazard data on sodium hexahydroxoantimonate (CAS 33908-66-6) - which can be read acrossed to sodium antimonate (A) - do not support the harmonized classification and labelling for this antimony compound as stated in Annex VI of Regulation (EC) 1272/2008.
Therefore, an alternative proposal for the classification and labelling of sodium antimonate (A) based on this specific data is provided as well in point b.

Sodium Antimonate (A) (Representative sample - proposed alternative classification)
State/form of the substance: powder
Remarks: Proposal for classification and labelling based on substance-specific, guideline-conform experimental data with unrestricted reliability; based on read across from sodium hexahydroxoantimonate (CAS 33908-66-6).
No classification, so no labelling
